Showcall Inc. and 4Wall Entertainment have announced their partnership with the buying out of Showcall-owned BSL Productions.

Halethorpe, Md.-based Showcall Inc. and 4Wall Entertainment, headquartered in Las Vegas, have joined forces. Through an asset-based purchase of Showcall-owned BSL Productions, 4Wall brings its theatrical lighting inventory to Showcall and the Mid-Atlantic marketplace.

Gerriets hung this 6,600 pound ceiling element nearly 33 yards above the floor at the International Auto Show held in Frankfurt, Germany in September.

Germany-based theatrical equipment specialist Gerriets, created a ceiling element for the Mercedes-Benz booth at the International Auto Show in Frankfurt, Germany that took 12-18 people 14 days to install.

UV/FX Produces Dual-Image Backdrops for Southern Comfort

UV/FX created this dual-image backdrop for Southern Comfort's concert tour in which two images overlapped on one background. The top image could be seen under normal light, but once ultraviolet light was added, the brighter image (below) popped out.

When Mowalla Productions was looking to give their client Southern Comfort an exciting look to their underCOVER concert tour, they contacted UV/FX about their flexible and lightweight dual-image scenery. UV/FX customized it to allow for two scenes to be incorporated into only one piece of scenery so the backdrop could change with little effort.

SGA Production Staging Acquires Two Companies

SGA Production Staging has acquired ASI Production Services and All Staging Unlimited (ASU), according to a statement released by the company. The combined company will begin joint operations immediately as SGASi Production Services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
