The recipients of the 2010 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards were presented with their award statues at the Spotlight Awards Event on March 8, 2010 in Las Vegas at the Event Solutions Conference and Tradeshow. Event Solutions would like to congratulate all the recipients as well as the deserving list of finalists. The 2010 recipients are as follows:

Event Solutions and Catersource have recently unveiled the full production team and entertainment schedule for its signature event, Anthology, at the Event Solutions Conference & Tradeshow, on Tuesday, March 10 in Las Vegas. Ballys Event Center will host this always anticipated showcasing event and attendees are sure to be amazed at the fusion of design, decor, cuisine and entertainment they will get to experience.
Executive Event Producer Cade Nagy’s production team is led by Entertainment Director, Richard Byford, Byway Entertainment; Design & Decor Director Nick Apap, Royce’s Prop Shop; and Technical Director John Garberson, Creative Backstage. With the 2010 Spotlight Awards just around the corner we need your help to make the event great.

Oscar Goodman, the mayor of Las Vegas, will open the 2010 Event Solutions Conference & Expo at the Featured Session, State of the Industry, on Monday, March 8 at 10:30am. Mayor Goodman will spend a few minutes discussing some of the current trends in the travel, hospitality and events industry and especially as they relate to Las Vegas and some of the recent fire the city has come under from the political front. Las Vegas has been hit extremely hard by the current economic environment and in particular by very public comments made by various politicians. Mayor Goodman has been tireless and outspoken in his efforts to reverse current trends to help get Las Vegas and the country back on the right track. He also serves as the chairman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and feverishly works to promote the enticing destination of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas’ newest development, CityCenter will serve as the host venue for both the 2010 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards and the Opening Night Las Vegas event.
The Mandarin Oriental Ballroom will host the Spotlight Awards and Eve the Nightclub will host Opening Las Vegas and the Spotlight Awards After-Party. Both of these venues are the hottest new facilities in Las Vegas and Event Solutions is excited to be holding their events at such prestiogious venues.

Voting for the 2010 Spotlight Awards officially closed at midnight, January 31. The recipients of the awards in 20 different categories will be announced on March 8 at the Event Solutions Spotlight Award Event at the 2010 Event Solutions Conference and Tradeshow in Las Vegas.
This year’s collection of finalists includes some of the most renowned and talented professionals in the industry. More than 80,000 votes were cast by other industy professionals making this the only industry awards decided by peers and colleagues.
