Who Should Attend the Idea Factory?
It’s simple. If you are in the event, meeting or hospitality industry, there’s plenty of reasons for you to attend the Idea Factory. You’ll meet other event professionals representing the many diverse areas of the industry. Owners of local event planning companies, professional caterers, entertainment brokers, special effects designers and tent rental companies will be there. Ever wonder where event directors from major venues, corporate marketing directors and the association trade show executives come up with those great ideas?
What should I wear?
Casual business attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the Idea Factory in the education sessions and on the show floor. Evening events dress for causal chic where you will see anything from jeans to sparkles. Plan for a Sunday Opening Night Las Vegas party at Chameleon Studios and Monday a welcome event, including a competition with some of the country’s top chefs.
On Tuesday, tempting fashion will find its way to the Fabulous Showcase Event where Temptation – sin a little will be the order of the evening. The Showcase Ticket is now a separate purchase and (based on requests from our attendees) you may purchase that ticket (price $149) to include your spouse or partner to include them in the fun.
How do I participate in the Certificate Programs?
There is no need to sign up for the courses in advance if you are registered with a Full Education Package. To verify your attendance for the corporate or association certificate program, you will need to have your card validated prior to entering the classroom. We will validate attendance 15 minutes prior to and 10 minutes after the scheduled start time of the session.
Our volunteers are there to assist you with the process so that your attendance is tracked and recorded. Your certificate of completion will be sent to you following the show once we have verified your attendance at five of the designated courses. This year we are giving you more options for your class choices making all of the green events sessions count towards your certificate of completion.
