Arriving guests were greeted by “living columns” with changing patterns of light to enhance the mystique. Dessert as art drew the crowd to the interior of the club.As the evening evolved, a dancer from Neraforma, costumed in long spandex, was added to the staircase, along with lighting that illuminated the dancer and initiated the interactive performance installation that made the audience part of the metamorphosis.The layered lighting effect was achieved through overlaid images produced by multiple projection points. The dancers onstage wore voluminous costumes that served as a screen for the ever- changing patterns of light.The immersive design of the metamorphosis employed dancers, audience and performance architecture as the “screens” for the light projection. The room changed constantly as guests moved about, adding even more motion and dimension to the transformation.
