Tabletop design reflects not only textile and fashion trends, but artists’ work as well
The current trends in tabletop design are very much inspired by prominent textile, fashion and interior designers, as well as popular art movements. Examples of such designers might be Picasso, who played a significant part of the cubist movement, thus inspiring the “Pucci” print linens, or Andy Warhol, from the modernist movement, making statements with bright colors and clean, architectural shapes. Black and white damask prints are currently one of the hottest trends in interior design motifs.
Creating texture is key! With monochromatic colors taken from innovative color palettes, you can achieve rich looks by layering texture with linen, glassware, china and centerpieces.
