Golf Networking Event Grows in Popularity

The 2006 Event Solutions golf tournament, the Event Solutions Scramble, was held at the Arrowhead Golf Club near Denver. Organized for the fourth consecutive year by Doc Waldrop of Infinite Designs, Pat Moughan of Losberger US and Dennis Smith of ASI Production Services Inc., the tournament grows in popularity each year as Idea Factory attendees and vendors take advantage of the networking opportunity of spending a day talking, playing and competing with one another in a variety of friendly golf competitions.
This year, tournament golfers were treated to spectacular panoramas as they steered their carts among the course’s striking red rocks. The vistas also included the chance sighting of a wide variety of Colorado wildlife — several red foxes were the big story of this August’s tournament. Golfers drove the ball from the signature tee, positioned atop a cliff, and as the balls dropped to the fairway or green, a number of them were snatched by foxes that darted out of the surrounding shrubs and disappeared back into the brush with them. Talk about a well-deserved mulligan!
