From the center of The Strip rises an original and enchanting destination. The 2011 Event Solutions Idea Factory will be the first conference of its size to take place at the hottest new property in Las Vegas.

Let the excitement begin! In just a few days, nominations will open for the 2011 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards. Here is your chance to shine, or to turn the spotlight on a performer, supplier, producer or planner who deserves to be recognized as the best of the best.

The recipients of the 2010 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards were presented with their award statues at the Spotlight Awards Event on March 8, 2010 in Las Vegas at the Event Solutions Conference and Tradeshow. Event Solutions would like to congratulate all the recipients as well as the deserving list of finalists. The 2010 recipients are as follows:

Event Solutions and Catersource have recently unveiled the full production team and entertainment schedule for its signature event, Anthology, at the Event Solutions Conference & Tradeshow, on Tuesday, March 10 in Las Vegas. Ballys Event Center will host this always anticipated showcasing event and attendees are sure to be amazed at the fusion of design, decor, cuisine and entertainment they will get to experience.
Executive Event Producer Cade Nagy’s production team is led by Entertainment Director, Richard Byford, Byway Entertainment; Design & Decor Director Nick Apap, Royce’s Prop Shop; and Technical Director John Garberson, Creative Backstage. With the 2010 Spotlight Awards just around the corner we need your help to make the event great.
This night is truly your night. As the event community and our clients readily adapts Social Media into our events, the 2010 Spotlight Awards is at the cutting edge. All this week we will be releasing information on various elements of the event through social media channels to “crowdsource” – that means let you, the audience, decide - how you want your event experience to be. Oscar Goodman, the mayor of Las Vegas, will open the 2010 Event Solutions Conference & Expo at the Featured Session, State of the Industry, on Monday, March 8 at 10:30am. Mayor Goodman will spend a few minutes discussing some of the current trends in the travel, hospitality and events industry and especially as they relate to Las Vegas and some of the recent fire the city has come under from the political front. Las Vegas has been hit extremely hard by the current economic environment and in particular by very public comments made by various politicians. Mayor Goodman has been tireless and outspoken in his efforts to reverse current trends to help get Las Vegas and the country back on the right track. He also serves as the chairman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and feverishly works to promote the enticing destination of Las Vegas.
