Wedding style, décor, and menus vary in many ways. Seated dinners may be the rage in the North, reception buffets in the South, and destination weddings in the West. Take this opportunity to meet and network with other event professionals from your area to identify the latest regional trends, discover effective marketing strategies, and learn about unique area venues. Each session will be moderated by a “wedding” event professional in your region who will encourage attendees to share wedding “ideas” with other innovative event professionals based on five geographical style and trend segments: north, midwest, east, south, and international. In response to requests from some “VEP’s” Very Experienced Planners, (10 or more years in the business), three classes in the Master Planner Series invite planners to take part in this peer-to-peer learning environment among this elite group. In a round table format, planners will engage in discussion for utilizing the ideas for the next level of event production.
