Keep your eye on Tout—the new real-time social media app that lets you share 15-second video status updates over email, Facebook and Twitter.
Tout, which was launched in April, got a huge boost last week when Shaq O’Neal used it to announce his retirement. O’Neal is a prolific user of social media, boasting more than 3 million followers on Twitter. In the first half hour after he Tweeted about his announcement, the video was clicked on more than 35,000 times. Tout, which is available through the App Store, is currently in BETA, so there’s some tweaking to do, but it looks to be the next hot sharing site.
