Fantasy and illusion are the inspirations for Pantone’s 2012 Fall Color Report, released the first day of New York Fashion Week. Tangerine Tango plays a pivotal role in the palette, as expected. But it’s joined by versatile neutrals and bold spirited hues such as Pink Flambè and Bright Chartreuse.
“The unexpected mix of darks, brights and neutrals transports consumers to an enchanting place, free from the stresses of everyday life,” says Leatrice Eiserman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®.
