Venue Highlight: Marquee at the Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas
Although it doesn’t open until New Year’s Eve, the Marquee Nightclub at the brand-new Cosmopolitan Las Vegas (www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com) is already creating quite a stir.
It’s huge—with more than 62,000 square feet of space and 50-foot high ceilings. It’s high tech—a multi-million dollar sound stage and four-story LED screens and projection walls will display custom light and image shows. And it’s visually stunning, with LED runways, catwalks and dramatic décor.
Marquee has secured top international house music DJs for the main nightclub and will also offer a mixed-format room called the Boom Box, which will have vast glass walls overlooking the Strip. And there’s even more coming. As the weather warms, Marquee’s Dayclub will open on the poor deck, featuring grand cabanas with individual infinity pools, and three-story bungalow lofts with cabana, living quarters and a party deck.
If you plan to attend the Event Solutions Idea Factory in February, you’ll experience the Marquee first-hand. It’s the venue for the Tuesday Night Party, which promises to be a blow-out affair.
