Event Pros Take Action
It’s back to New Orleans this summer for the Event Pros Take Action EPTA) group, formerly known as Operation Outreach. This charitable group of about 30 event professionals will continue its work helping to renovate and redesign homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina nearly six years ago. Amazingly, there are still close to 60,000 families living in FEMA trailers or overcrowded apartments.
The group completed its inaugural mission last year when it created dream interiors for two families. This summer’s mission, which will take place July 18-20, will tackle two more houses in the St. Bernard Parish. Mark Wells of Hello Florida! and Richard Carbotti of perfect Surroundings Event Design will once again take the lead design roles.
