The Buzz…Orlando
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts broke ground last week on its new property at Walt Disney World. The 444-room hotel, which will open in 2014, will boast a rooftop restaurant with views of the Magic Kingdom, a 14,000-square-foot spa, three pools and 38,000 square feet of meeting space.
The popular Peabody Orlando recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a commemorative duck march. The hotel staff also celebrated this milestone by pledging to provide more than 25,000 hours of service to central Florida organizations.
More Orlando hotel news…the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort at Bonnet Creek opened October 1. The Renaissance Orlando recently completed a five-year $3.5 million renovation and the Sonesta Hotel downtown has become the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando Downtown.
