Corporate Event at Telfair Museum in Savannah

At a recent event held at the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, Executive Producer, Michael Sparks created three days of meetings, events and experiences for a corporation’s top wholesale customers. The events revolved around a central, artistic theme celebrating the venues, locale and entertainment of picturesque and historic Savannah, Georgia. Guests were treated to horse-drawn carriage transportation to the Telfair, after which they were greeted by servers who offered champagne in flutes custom designed with the company logo. They were then guided into the rotunda to dine at the unique X-shaped table for gourmet cuisine by Southern Graces of Savannah, Georgia and entertainment by a local jazz band.

Lighting designed by Doc Waldrop of Atlanta based Full Circle Lighting & Productions created patterns of branches that looked as if guests were walking through a forest. The guests entered with the sharp focus shadows of the branches, with varying degrees of focus until they reached the table. Audio enhancements provided by Chameleon Designs based in Orlando.

Floral Designer, Woody Brooks Designs of Atlanta took advantage of the 30 foot high ceilings with a spectacular twelve foot tall floral arrangement that was elevated to call attention to the grandeur and scale of the room. Brooks also supplied linens, tables and chairs.

Four small decorative cans up lighted the floral arrangement so that it was spotlighted from above and illuminated from below by Infinite Full Circle Lighting & Productions. One small cord provided all the power for the up-light as well as candelabras.

Silver and glassware were arranged in an oscillated, curving pattern by caterer Southern Graces.

Full Circle Lighting & Productions positioned 16 foot lighting towers, wrapped in burgundy velour, provided by ASI Production Services, at the end of each spoke of the X-configuration. The lights were focused down the table to give a soft table surface glow, but assuring that no seated guest created a shadow over the table setting.
