The Event Solutions and Catersource Conference & Tradeshow has experienced a striking evolution over the past few years. The 2009 Showcase will match this progress by delivering an event experience unlike any other. This year’s Showcase, “Metamorphosis,” is brought to you by Los Angeles-based Ethos Design, one of the industry’s foremost design firms, and is sponsored by Lounge22.
“Metamorphosis,” merges high design with installation design, bringing them both to life within the event experience. Intended to challenge people’s perception of how they see, touch and engage space, “Metamorphosis,” produces an active, experiential and tactile encounter. Based on the concept of transformation, the event will have guests playing an active role in shaping the experience. In a sense, you will arrive at one event and leave another.
“Metamorphosis,” will take place at MEET, downtown Las Vegas’ newest event and exhibit venue. Created in collaboration with Ethos, MEET features an innovative rigging system that allows any kind of object to discreetly fasten to the venue’s walls, ceilings and floors—the technology enables a new approach to shaping and transforming space. This innovative venue offers the perfect backdrop to Ethos’ progressive approach to spatial design.
Ethos’ multidisciplinary approach is a collaboration of environmental and industrial designers, architects, engineers and production specialists. Utilizing highly progressive fabrication techniques and the most advanced materials available, Ethos creates design solutions that characterize a signature “hybrid” style.
Together with MEET, and with contributions from a shortlist of the industry’s leading trendsetters, Ethos’ “Metamorphosis,” will provide a window into the future of event and exhibit design.
Buses will run from 8:30pm – 1:30am.
