Planners from around the world gathered in Las Vegas last month to attend the 2011 Event Solutions Idea Factory Conference and Expo. They came to learn, network, seek out exciting new technologies and products, and to discover new strategies for growing their careers.

The 2011 Spotlight Award winners were announced and presented with their trophies at the Spotlight Awards Event in Las Vegas during the Event Solutions Idea Factory. But IBM and Meeting Consultants, an Atlanta-based corporate event planning company, pulled it off last year when they agreed early on to recycle, minimize waste and reuse as much of the meeting materials as they could.
