Scottsdale Resort Wins Table Competition
The Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., was awarded First Place and Best In Show at a recent table design competition in Phoenix.
Debbie Spencer, director of catering for the resort, and her team dressed up the table to resemble a mechanical gear and covered it in the Eclipse Lens 3-D film produced by Holo-Walls, which produces holographic and special floor products for the entertainment, design and events industries. The film was also used for the table centerpieces and the chairs to complement the look of the unique tabletop.
“My concept was that most inventions could not be produced without the gear,” said Spencer. “So we made a gear table and covered it with the Holo-Walls’ Eclipse Lens film. We had the pleasure of having our table near the door and had a great time watching every jaw drop as people walked in and saw it. It was amazing beating 32 other competitors. It was the biggest hit of the show and I am madly in love with their product.”
