With the 2010 Spotlight Awards just around the corner we need your help to make the event great.
This night is truly your night. As the event community and our clients readily adapts Social Media into our events, the 2010 Spotlight Awards is at the cutting edge. All this week we will be releasing information on various elements of the event through social media channels to “crowdsource” – that means let you, the audience, decide - how you want your event experience to be. You will be able to preview and pick your choice for elements of the event’s menu, served cocktails, and even elements of the décor. To vote follow this link.

Planner Boot Camp Scheduled for Sunday Afternoon
For new-to-the-industry planners, UNLV is sponsoring an afternoon of Event Planning Basics sessions. This program is designed for entry level planners to have the opportunity to get up-to-speed and ready for the following days of education. There is no additional charge for these courses, they are included in your attendee registration.
Larissa Schultz, CMP, will lead a group of industry professionals and educators in sessions on: Budgeting, Site Selection, RFP’s, Food & Beverage, Audio / Visual Technologies and Design & Décor.
The Boot Camp runs from 1:30p.m. – 6:00p.m. in the Paris Versailles room.
