Event Professionals Meet the Masters at Calif. ISES Event
Nearly 200 California event industry professionals met with event masters from around the country, including Event Solutions Managing Editor Rachel Globus, at the 2nd annual Meet the Masters event at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
This annual event, produced by the Los Angeles chapter of the International Special Events Society, was created to provide an opportunity for all levels of event professionals to meet with leaders in the event industry that they might otherwise never get a chance to meet.
J&M Entertainment provided the lighting, while Joella Hopkins of Simply Mumtaz Events was responsible for the event production and graphic design.
Throughout the evening, masters rotated tables, with each course allowing them to meet with 40 individuals throughout the meal. Attendees had a chance to swap ideas, learn about successes and generate ideas to better their businesses.
A conglomerate of event companies came together to provide all the essentials of the event. Cloth Connection provided the linens; table numbers and menu cards were provided by Ink Invitations; That’s Cool Events created the table centerpieces; custom chocolates were provided by Images Printed on Chocolate; the draping was provided by Quest Drape; the room décor was done by Rrivre Works Inc.; and M. Norwood Photography snapped photos of the annual event.
Perhaps the most necessary, though thankfully unused, service for the event was provided by On Call Medic, an on-site EMT service that stood ready just in case of an emergency.
