Eco-Friendly Twirl Management Opens Doors in San Francisco
As the events industry trends toward green, Twirl Management, an environmentally friendly event production and consulting company, has opened its doors in San Francisco.
The company, a division of Rose Walsh Media Inc., assesses the impact an event will have on the environment and creates alternative solutions that aim to benefit both budgets and the environment.
Travel to and from an event, energy consumption, waste management, promotional materials, byproduct recycling and food production sources are all part of what Twirl evaluates.
“We specialize in efficiently shaping an event to use eco-friendly tools and resources that are appropriate for that event’s intended impact,” said owner Johanna Walsh in a recent release. “We smartly ‘green’ an event.”
The company hopes to expand by opening another office in New York in 2008.
