Derek Eaton, PRI Productions Named Producer of Showcase Event
Derek Eaton, last year’s Event Solutions event producer of the year, and a veteran producer of two Showcase Events (Atlanta and Denver) will take the reins as executive producer of the 2007 Fabulous Showcase Event.
Eaton, along with local and national event planning and production companies, will Showcase in Miami a plethora of entertainment, culinary style, décor, lighting and technical products and ideas that are leading the way events are produced.
The Showcase Event has become the ultimate experiential marketing event for the industry. PRI Productions, under Eaton’s direction, produced areas at the Showcase Events in 2005 and 2006. The adventurous pirate motif featured in Atlanta and the Egyptian Pure Ra featured on the stage at Red Rocks in Denver demonstrated the creativity and spectacular events that are the hallmark for PRI Productions.
The Showcase Event has evolved over several years to include as many as 100 companies from throughout North America. These companies use the Showcase Event to launch new products or ideas, provide resources for events to be held in the host city and expand their list of potential clients in need of event services.
