Best Sports Events for 2007 Named
The 2007 State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Spokane, Wash., was named Sports Event of the Year, winning top honors at the SportsTravel Awards at the TEAMS 2007 Conference & Expo held at the end of October.
The award winners were nominated and voted upon by readers of SportsTravel, an event magazine for the sports world.
In addition to the State Farm event, the following events were named as winners:

NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Sacramento, California

2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona

2006 Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania
Best Amateur Multi-Sport or Multi-Discipline Event
2007 Summer National Senior Games in Louisville, Kentucky
