Cutting Edge Collections

Couples shopping for stylish, specialized wedding invitations have a new set of options these days, with the introduction of three new collections from Wedding Paper Divas.
The strictly-online service is now offering invitations for same sex, ethnic and traditional religious weddings. All of the collections can be personalized with a variety of paper, typographies, colors and shapes. “Our wedding invitations draw upon symbols, imagery and sentiments to give couples a multitude of options that speak to their personal style,” says Laura Ching, chief design officer. “We’ve created a set of truly unique collections for our one-of-a-kind couples.”
The new same-sex collection is inspired by the chic style of today’s modern couples and offers a number of designs to help celebrate their unions, Ching says. The ethnic collection includes peacocks, Indian religious symbols and henna designs while the traditional religious designs boast Christian scriptures and crosses.
Ching also points to some of design trends they’re spotting for fall and winter, including metallics, bold hues on neutral palettes, global textures and ombre patterns.
